PURPOSE OF EXPEDITION:

Recover MOBY226, deploy MOBY227, and collect bio-optical data for algorithm refinement and development.

EXPEDITION SUMMARY:

MOBY-L106:  MOBY227 was successfully deployed on 6 May 04 and MOBY226 was recovered on 7 May 04.  A grid for investigating horizontal variability was performed during the evening of 7 May, and bio-optical stations were occupied on 7-8 May.

Oahu-6:  A total of seven day-time bio-optical stations were occupied.  Six of them were inside of Kaneohe Bay near the coral reef.  The 7th station was outside of Koko Head.  Two night-time stations were performed for measurements specific to coral reef fluorescence.
