PURPOSE OF EXPEDITION:

  Routine maintenance on MOBY.

EXPEDITION SUMMARY:

Rough sea conditions and the presence of multiple, aggressive oceanic white tip sharks hindered maintenance activities.  At one point, a shark had to be fended off with a bag of antifoulant tubes.  The sharks and the rough conditions precluded taking any photographs of MOBY.

The MOBY collector windows were successfully cleaned and the antifoulant chemicals were replenished.  It was observed that the flopper stopper line had parted just below the wire bridle and that the flopper stopper drogue array was missing.
