PURPOSE OF EXPEDITION:
Retrieve MOBY217 and deploy MOBY218, collect water samples for further algorithm development, and work with NIST personnel on MOBY stray light experiments.

EXPEDITION SUMMARY:
MOBY218 was successfully deployed on 24 Sep.  It was too windy and rough on 25 Sep to recover MOBY217, so cross-over profiles between the two systems were obtained in conjunction with the MODIS-Terra overpass.  After MOBY217 was recovered on 26 Sep, initial diver cals were performed and WARS was deployed on MOBY218.

During MOBY-L72b, the Mooring buoy battery pack was replaced and routine maintenance was performed on the CIMEL located on Lanai.

A series of day cruises (4, 5 & 8 Oct), designated as Oahu-1, occurred for the first time on the R/V Klaus Wyrtki.  Water samples were collected, in support of further bio-optical algorithm development, off of Barber's Point and Waikiki.
