Eric is a member of the Ocean Surface Topography Science Team and the
GRACE Science Team. As a member of Working Group 1 of the IPCC, Eric was a
contributing author and reviewer for the chapter "Observations: Oceanic
Climate Change and Sea Level" of the IPCC's Fourth Assessment Report
Climate Change 2007: the Physical Science Basis.
He received a B.S. in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University and an
M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He
was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Texas's Center for Space
Research in Austin. He was assistant director of National Youth Science
Camp for one year.
